Georgetown Ontario – Georgetown is a wonderful community to live. From the early ages of learning to ride your bike on one of the quiet side streets, to attending one of the great community schools,  to purchasing your first houses, to raising children. Once your adult children have grown up and moved out and as you are getting more mature in life and stairs are becoming more and more difficult for you there are some alternative and other Real Estate options in Georgetown Ontario.

If you are looking to downsize from your 2000 plus square foot house to a newer bungalow, consider moving to Barber Mills in Georgetown South which is located at the South West corner of Mountainview and Argyll.  Fernbrook built in 2007 a number of floor plans were offered. Cathedral Ceilings and an Open Floor Plan make this very desirable.    There is a relatively small fee for snow removal and garbage pickup.

There are a number of condo apartment buildings in Georgetown Ontario. The 3 most popular are, The Royal Ascot, The Sands and The Condo Building that is on Chapel Street.

The Royal Ascot: Is located on Hall Road in Georgetown. Condominium prices in the last couple years have ranged from the low $200,000 to high $200,000. The Condo Fees in the past have include your Building Insurance, Parking, Heat, Hydro, Water, and Central Air Conditioning. You just have to pay the taxes and cable or internet if you want.

The Sands: Is located on Mcfarlane Drive in Georgetown. Condo prices in the last couple years have been from the low $200,000 to $300,000. The Fees in the past have included  Building Insurance, Water, and Parking. You would have to pay for everything else.

Chapel Street: As the name suggest, this condo building is located on Chapel Street in Georgetown.  This is Building is the more upscale one of the three.  Condos here start at the mid $200,000 and go up to the mid $400,000. Here the fees include Building Insurance, Heat, Air Conditioning,  Water and Parking.

There is one life lease condo style living in Georgetown.
